Welcome to the May Edition,
We present to you, Part 4 in the SMCB Church History series; memories will come alive once you read the letters by Fr. Raphael and Fr. Roy, to our community. During this particular time, we are reminded about how SMCB used to be a hive of activity and to allow ourselves to hope for the future when we return to Pre-COVID life. The church celebrated the Holy Week and Feast of St. George in April. You can see the pictures here. In continuation of the 'Family Fully Alive' series, Pinto Achan talks about the importance of being hopeful during these trying times. The young parishioners of Grade 3 and Grade 8 also share key teachings with us, as part of their faith formation journey.
In this edition, we celebrate Mother's Day and Nurses Day through personal stories and lots of pictures! The second part of a personal pilgrimage diary will take you to Kolkata, while the Saint of the Month is a well known fearless French warrior woman. To commemorate International Labor Day, we trace the origins of the workers movement. Be inspired by the young girls who stepped up to rally support for the India Covid Fund relief.
As you scroll down, we hope you find something that will uplift and inspire you!
