Welcome to the October Edition,
"ദൈവത്തിന് ഭൂമിയിലെ ഓരോ ശിശുവിന്റെയും അടുത്ത് വന്നിരിക്കാൻ സമയമില്ല, അതുകൊണ്ട് അവിടുന്ന് അമ്മമാരെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു." എന്നൊരു ചൈനീസ് പഴമൊഴിയുണ്ട്. ഒരു അമ്മയ്ക്ക് കിട്ടാവുന്ന ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രശംസയാണ് അത്. ദൈവത്തിൻറെ അംബാസിഡർ ആയിരിക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥ. ദൈവത്തിൻറെ വക്താവ് , അതാണ് അമ്മ. "ഇതാ നിൻറെ അമ്മ" എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് കുരിശിൻ ചുവട്ടിൽ വെച്ച് യേശുക്രിസ്തു നമുക്ക് നൽകിയ അമ്മയാണ് പരിശുദ്ധ മറിയം. ലോകജനതയുടെ മുഴുവൻ അമ്മയായ പരിശുദ്ധ മറിയത്തിന്റെ ജന്മദിനമായിരുന്നു സെപ്റ്റംബർ 8. ആ അമ്മയുടെ മധ്യസ്ഥതയുടെ തണലിൽ അഭയം തേടിയാൽ അമ്മ നമ്മളെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കില്ല.
സ്ത്രീക്ക് മഞ്ഞു പോലെ മൃദുലമാകുവാനും, ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ കുളിർമയേകുവാനും, തേൻപോലെ മധുരമാകുവാനും കഴിയും. പരിശുദ്ധ അമ്മയുടെ മധ്യസ്ഥതയാൽ നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതം മൃദുലവും കുളിർമയും പിന്നെ മാധുര്യവും നിറഞ്ഞതാകട്ടെ...!
കെട്ടിലും മട്ടിലും ഏറെ പുതുമകളോടെ ഈ മാസത്തെ SMCBTimes സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നു. CCD inauguration വിശേഷങ്ങളും, Catechetical Sunday വിശേഷങ്ങളും, അശ്വതിയുടെ ചെറുകഥ, കുട്ടികളുടെ കുക്കിംഗ്, ഡാൻസിങ്, റിപ്പോർട്ടിങ് ഒക്കെ കൊണ്ട് സംഭവബഹുലമായ ഒരു പതിപ്പാണിത്. നമ്മുടെ പള്ളിയുടെ പത്താം വാർഷികം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന ഈ വേളയിൽ എല്ലാവർക്കും ഒരു നല്ല മാസം നേരുന്നു.

Dear Parishioners,
As we prepare to celebrate the 10th year anniversary of our Parish, it is a good time for us to open our minds to the Lord and sing Hallelujah for all the blessings that ‘HE’ showered upon us for the last 10 years.
Celebrating the 10th year of our faith and belief that we are proclaimed as "The Chosen Race"; my mind is overwhelming with the songs of Psalmists.
Let us give thanks to the Lord for...
▪ Those who established the SMCB congregation ten years ago, their faith and vision, gifts and abilities.
▪ Those who have been members of this congregation, who have given freely of their time and money.
▪ All who have preached and taught here that Jesus is our Lord.
Lord, as we celebrate our past and rejoice in our present, we also look forward with eager eyes to the future. We pray that You would continue to make Your love known among us. Amen.

Faith Formation - Life Sunday, October 3
Our Diocese is celebrating Life Sunday on October 03, 2021. This day will be a time for our parishes to promote a culture of life through education and awareness. To support this mission, the diocesan 4Life Ministry has prepared study materials for our CCD classes, which can be used on Life Sunday. There are separate materials for Elementary, Middle School, High School classes. Also, this year we will have materials for Youth and Young Adults both in Malayalam and English. This feast was instituted to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary in gratitude for the protection that she offers the Church for praying the Rosary by the faithful.
This is a beautiful rendition in the form of a classical dance, by Rhea Kunnel, Kathy Francis and Rhea Valantra, to honor our blessed Mother that summarizes the Litany of Mother Mary.
