SMCB Family Units

With the formal inauguration of our Syro-Malabar Parish on July 19, 2011 by late Cardinal Mar Varkey Vithayathil, our journey in faith took a new turn towards our spiritual destination. Thanks to the loving, lively leadership of our very first pastor Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Vadana , a formidable prayer unit was set up - LITTLE FLOWER unit with its own sweet, sacred scent. New stirrings of the spirit were alive. Despite all the challenging, varied seasons of past years including the present pandemic, this group of worshipers continue to be the only functioning unit that meets every month be it online or in person and on time - thus keeping our loving community alive and agile. Our president Antony George and secretary Chinnamma Mathew keeps the unifying spirit alive! Currently, this unit has 16 families.

Thirukudumbam unit was formally started in 2003 under Fr. Vadana’s initiative. The prayer unit was formed with around 5 families/members who lived in the Burlington area. By 2005, the unit grew to 10 families and started hosting regular monthly prayer meetings. Currently, this unit has 16 families.
