Message from our First Parish Priest (2011 -12) Fr. Varghese Naikkamparambil

Dear Rev. Fr. Stephen and Parishioners,

Prayerful Greetings from Varghese Achan. Glad to know that you have a new online church publication “SMCBTimes''. I am extremely happy and proud of writing a few lines, since I was the first Parish Priest there appointed from July 21, 2011. I believe that SMCBTimes would be a significant demonstration of our Christian brotherhood and fellowship of St.Thomas Syro-Malabar Church, Boston, MA. I hope this periodical will help the parishioners to know and communicate with each other as we are in one family of Jesus. I wish you all the success. May our Heavenly Patrons - Mother Mary and St.Thomas protect and guide SMCB Times forever. On this occasion I congratulate Stephen Achan, Members of editorial board and all the Parishioners who have contributed to the realization of SMCB Times.

Now I am in a Mission Parish of Bareilly Diocese, UP, India; appointed as Vicar & Superior of Vincentian Ashram. It’s a Retreat Center too. Few Catholics and many “Christu Bhaktas” come for the Word of God. Christu Bhaktas are not baptised Catholics; but more than Catholics in practice. We also do some social work among the poor villages. Here are some photos of my activities: distribution of food grains to corona affected people; supply of blankets to poor widows. Thank you.
