As we step into a new year, with new opportunities and challenges, we both reflect on everything that made the past one unique and appreciate the lessons it gave us. The year 2020 was unlike anything in the recent history of the world, with a global pandemic, unprecedented election year, and a plethora of other events that made it one for the history books. But, as the seasons change, so must time, and we welcome this new year with open arms.
For our first edition of 2021, join us for a January issue filled with unique perspectives, bright flavors, and brilliant messages. Bishop Ephrem of the Diocese of Chanda extends his New Years wishes in a heart warming message, while members of our parish share both the stories that warmed their hearts as well as the food that filled their bellies this past holiday season. Also, our beloved Pinto Achan shares a beautiful message of the role of prayer in the family.
We hope that this month's edition will bring a fun and exciting start to the next year. Whether the inspiration you seek is food or faith based, this edition is sure to have something for you. And so, we extend warm New Year's wishes from our editorial staff here at the SMCB times to you, and we hope you enjoy our work this month. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for your unwavering support throughout this uncertain year. Happy New Year!
