Welcome to the July edition!
We have been waiting for the summer of 2022 with much anticipation - making plans to reunite, travel and explore with friends and family! Church life has been busy - with gardening, new parishioners and a birth announcement. Schools closed in June and we have a brand new batch of graduates. The CCD DRE writes a short account of the past year. A parishioner writes a beautiful tribute to his father and brings in his experiences about raising three of his own. Another father writes about the anguish he felt at the news of the horrific school shooting in Texas.
We also bring you updates from Youth Corner and Parish Facilities, etc.
As we prepare to celebrate the feast of St. Thomas, have a blessed month of July!

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has announced that years 2022, 2023 and 2024 are designated for Eucharistic Revival in the American Catholic Chuch. Details of this revival is shared in the attached Pastoral Letter from our Bishop Jacob Angadiath.

This year, Diocesan Youth Apostolate (DYA) Northeast Regional Team is hosting SYNC 2022: REVIVE - our Syro-Malabar Youth Northeast Conference (SYNC). This event is for all youth and young adults, from incoming 8th grade through age 35, in our Northeast region. The theme for the conference is Revive, centered on the passage below:
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, establish, and strengthen you.” 1 Peter 5:10
The purpose of this gathering is to revive our youth spiritually and to build and foster unity among Syro-Malabar youth in the region. The conference will have spiritual formation sessions given by national speakers, praise and worship, games/sports, and cultural performances by individual parishes.

They have 3 children (Megan - 8yrs, Tristan - 7yrs & Jayden - 3yrs). Anson’s mother Mary lives with the family.
Anson works in Clinical Development at Takeda, Cambridge and Princy is a Software Engineer at GE Digital.
