On May 21, 2022, 4 children in the SMCB community received the sacrament of Solemn Holy Communion. Our Vicar Fr. Stephen Kanipallil was the main celebrant, and he was joined by Fr. Raneesh Jose SJ. It was a beautiful ceremony, the outcome of the efforts and preparation of various teams, parents and teachers. The community, including trustees, choir and so many others, rallied together to make it a memorable event for all the communicants and their families. Friends and family of communicants who could not attend in person, were in virtual attendance. The community of sisters from St. Martha, Adoration and Venerini congregation decorated the altar in the most beautiful manner and provided assistance for a host of activities. It was, of course a special occasion for the communicants' teachers, Sr. Lincy and Tresa Francis who had trained and prepared the children for this special day. In this feature, we introduce the 4 communicants to you.
