Welcome to the November Edition,
This past month, our church community came together to gather and celebrate many events. The Marian Mothers led the phone rosary initiative unting families in prayer. The first ever SMCB family day brought together SMCB families to celebrate our community spirit, bringing many talents to the forefront. The CCD program has been busy with multiple programs and successfully established the first ever Little Flower mission league in our Parish. The Youth group has been busy too and has an important announcement!

Marian Mothers celebrated Rosary month with a phone rosary, uniting in their call to prayer. The group took a trip to Holliston as well, to visit the Fatima Shrine and got to spend a beautiful day there!
The SMCC team has been pretty busy this month at our Parish. They have almost completed the volleyball court, have kick-started their arts, dance and malayalam classes and were involved in the recently concluded SMCB Parish Day Celebrations.

The first ever Family Day of the SMCB Parish was celebrated on October 22nd, 2022. It was a fun-filled event with our parishioners showcasing their talents with stage performances and a delicious array of sweet and savory treats.
On Oct 25th, Vinaya George and Alex Jose welcomed their first! Congratulations to the new parents on the arrival of Luke Joseph Alex. Vinaya and Alex are residents of Ashland and members of the St. Alphonsa family unit.
In October, the youth members organized an Apple Picking trip!
The youth community is eager to host a potluck event on November 26th. You dont want to miss this!!Be sure to join!

This year we inagurated the Cherupushpa (Little Flower) Mission league (CML). CML aims at fostering the mission spirit among its members, and improve their organizational and leadership, skills and qualities.
On October 22nd, our core Mission League members visited Somerset NJ to participate in the 75th anniversary celebration of The Little Flower Mission League.

Fr. Kevin Mundackal is the first American-born Syro-Malabar priest ordained in the United States. Kevin Achan will be in our church to lead sessions on The Holy Eucharist and Syro-Malabar Liturgy.
All CCD students grades 4 - 12 are requested to attend this session. This is a rare opportunity. Youth & young adults are also welcome!
