We will be starting our Vanakkamasam daily rosary devotions at 7pm by Audio Conferencing on May 1, 2022 and end on May 31, 2022.
There is a signup sheet for all the 31 days of the month for any family to lead the rosary. We plan to have each family and their members take turns to lead on the day they have signed up and the rest of the participants who joined in can mute their calls to avoid echoing. Every family has their own style of saying the rosary. This will give opportunity for all members to participate and also be creative by adding a song or two. Parents can pass on the Dial-in number and access information to their children who are away from home and they can join in from wherever they are either at work, college or residing in a different state or country on that day of the month. This way we all are connected and we can pray with them wherever they are.
We believe in the power of prayers and the miracles associated in reciting the daily rosary and the intercession of our Blessed Mother Mary. As Jesus said “For where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there among them.” (Matt 18:20). With this faith let us come together to pray on all the days of the month of May.

Our Next Senior’s Club will take place after Fall because of basement unavailability and summer holidays. The date with details will be announced later. Please stay tuned for our next Senior’s event with a brand-new image and activities.
The foundational call of Christians is charity. During Lent, we are asked to focus more intently on "almsgiving,". As one of the three pillars of Lenten practice, almsgiving is "a witness to fraternal charity" and “a work of justice pleasing to God." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 2462). https://www.usccb.org/prayer-and-worship/liturgical-year/lent/almsgiving-sacrifical-giving-catholics-lent
We have collected some amount and donated to St. Anne’s Charitable Institute, West Fort, Thrissur, home for the aged and Infirm. They are home to 8 orphan girls and 9 elderly women. The orphanage was selected by the person on visit in that area. We will give out the receipts for the amount to those who donated.

We require college age girls to help with Altar flower arrangements for major events like Christmas, Easter and other important events. We require groups of four (bring in your siblings who can work alongside the 4 main ones) and we can rotate between each group for each event. We recently completed Easter Flower Arrangements with a group of young ladies - Sneha, Sona, Steffi, Juneeta and Jubitta. Their timely help came of great relief and brought beauty to our ltars for Easter. Thank you for sending your daughters as it was good to see the young work together and show the spirit of humility in service by doing simple and small tasks. Please don't worry about making it a group of four, as we can make the groups once you reach out to us.
Let me take this opportunity to thank our Altar flower helpers who come regularly and stay back to help on Saturdays or whenever in need. This task can be arduous making the efforts of all who do it even more worthwhile. Our Palm Sunday arrangements created by our team were made from items donated by different members, making the arrangement blessed with their kindness.
“The spirit of service is a close friend to the spirit of humility.”
To Jesus Christ be all the Praise and Glory
